Hope The rain came then went Having laundered my town The clouds are all spent So the sun can pour down Bright gold on the scene The air is brilliant blue The earth is washed clean Old leaves and new buds too With that urgent green Early spring vibrancy I am glad to be Alive right now right here As once-blind eyes see This blooming of the year Life returns to me The blood flows in my veins Like sap in a tree After the labor pains Of the birth of spring As life itself explains: Hope is everything +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMVI

This is so wonderful, Cousin! And like most labor, I hope you forget the 'painful' part, or perhaps we need it to remind us to be grateful for 'the sun'?

Hope is what really and truly keeps the world turning. Hope for love, hope for children, hope for peace on and on it goes and when the hope dies so will we.
