The Edge of My World

I took this photo last fall along my property line that runs adjacent to the lake. Quiet,simple, remote, beauty.

I have a place

Where I can hide

Or dream

Or count caterpillars

Or spider webs

Smell the moss

Fathom the ripples

On the lake below

From pebbles that I toss

In plain sight to some

Oblivious to most

Right on the edge

Of my world
