A model of perfection
Frances wanted attention
so she draped herself in furs.
In rare skin, white lioness,
Frances paraded, would hiss,
"The rarer skins make me purr."
Endangered species—fair game!
"It's fashionable." No shame!
Worldwide animals were warned.
A pink scarf--spotted bat ears--
that Fran wears … brings whispers near,
she hears screams when its' ears shorn.
Slacks of sea otter slink, squirm,
as Fran falls down … now a worm—
feeling sheer pain when its' clubbed.
From exotic to leathers,
her blouse of rarest feathers
tightens, she's penned—feathers plucked, shoved
in muck … animal graveyard.
All but silk Frances discards
to discourage more ripples, tears.
Be aware that what you do,
what you wear, reflects YOU.
Dress as if somebody CARES!
