The Children of Earth

Will the children of earth ever know any peace?
There's a market for organs; lethal weapongs galore.
Will a sane generation ever rule anymore?
Daily madmen, bodies, fall; blood runs in our streets.
Is there hope for redemption when hearts cease to beat?
Killers and rapists are 'early released'
to run wild and rampant. Is this justice or defeat?
The elders all wonder, what's a body to do
when armies of children scare the HELL out of you?
They steal your possessions and value no life.
Take it all for granted ... we caved in with fright.
Well! I won't be bullied till I lay in my grave!
I want the freedoms our forefathers gave.
If the children of earth are to know any peace,
we must guide the children, take charge ... do right.
Hiding in dark corners lets evil ones reign.
Let's punish the lawlessness, banish gang rule.
However they cry, some children are cruel.
Do your jobs, do your best, everybody must try
to make miracles. Then ... Earth will survive
and the children of earth may finally know peace.
