I like how you grasp the sun and the earth as your own in the last line. And you focus a lot on rebirth as though the preceding night had done a lot of killing.
Immediately reminded me of the time I awoke before sunrise to catch it coming up over the Gulf of Siam. All I saw was fog. And the fog was pierced with the happy sounds of hundreds of children splashing in the surf bused in from a local camp.
Amazing how through the eyes of a lover, the world can come alive like a flaming orb, this is a poem to smile about, thanks for the sharing John, have a great day xo
