Rene & I went to the beach today, this is the result, a great time had by us both, the ocean beautiful, but the beach, looked scuzy, had to pick up some glass and plastic and throw it away...ed & Rene'(Thats Rene' on the right in the above picture...LOL!!)

Poem Artwork

             “MY OCEAN”

Nobody else’s, mine,

Till the end of time,

Maybe is only in my mind,

Treat it well, cause it belongs to me,

                YES MINE…

Clear today like when Rene’ & I were kids,

Seaweed so green, jellyfish & squid,

Take away your plastic, aluminum & lids,

Could wash away  & kill, a fish, a turtle or one of their kids…

Ocean so warm today, to say almost mild,

Great place to play for the little ones, yes a child,

Worry not about sharks or predators so few,

Be afraid more of lightening or a bit of bad stew,

Fear even more of Mother Nature’s wrath when riled…

The ocean being for me & yes for you,

Deposit your trash where it belongs,

You can now get a jail term, yes possibly long,

Our oceans are our futures, and our past,

So much was done to Ole’ Mom Ocean, so very wrong…

Hey, Ed! Great to meet you, and having read your Biog - LOVE your style, Man! You sound like a guy after my own heart, and having read this write of yours, it is easy to see why you and the Man Kostro are such great pals. Go easy, Buddy, and thanks for taking such great care of that which is life and breath to us but that which we so shamefully despoil. We are entirely indebted to your thoughtfulness, as will be the ones to whom we leave our legacy...Neat write, thank you. Kate xx

It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach! If only people who visit the shore & venture down to the beach, would heed not to litter on the beach then there would be no need for timely reminders....Love to walk anywhere with u.....

Love.....Rene'
