Leaves..


Orange, yellow, red, and brown,


Coming off the trees all over town,

If it were up to me, they would stay,

Throughout the winter on the ground…..

 


Told we must of them rake,


Hey, how about for my sake,


Leave them leaves, don't take,


don't think me a total flake…..


 


I just love leaves,


I hate to them rake,


Broken down over winter to mulch,


The trees they did fall off of,


Can for the cold months their loss grieve…..

Nothing as beautiful as walking down a avenue filled with leaves in the late afternoon...so serene and so magical!!
