We did walk the boardwalk in the dark,

The full moon did light our way, twas not stark,

The temperature in the mid sixties, we did so on a lark…

Boats did cruise the nighttime river,

Even though the weather did give us a shiver,

They went out with lights ablaze,

The moon was quite full, not a sliver…

We walked hand in hand,

A place she had not before seen,

The river a mirror for the moons sheen,

A place for lovers, the air & sky clean,

No matter where we go together, nothing ever seems bland…
