Poem Artwork

Pulling out that sweat suit,

Starting to wear again socks,

Putting away your shorts,

No longer to show off your legs so cute…

Winds are getting a bit strong,

Darkness comes earlier,

Again we are heading into winter,

It’s a definite, I just wish though I was wrong…

The sun is ebbing further south,

The trees are changing their hue,

This time of year is nothing new,

No one needs to hear of it by word of mouth…

I felt a little nip the other day, but it was either her biting my ear or a bit of rum I had with my juice. Still hot hurricane season down here in heaven.

Ma says that you should keep wearing your shorts under all those other clothes - but wash them at least once a week.
