Our relationship with Nature is fast breaking down...whats going to happen with our Mother Earth...?

Poem Artwork

The birds & bees & monkeys in the trees,

All the animals left on this world,

Destroying what man has not,

Bringing human kind to their proverbial knees.

Though man has his own troubles,

Tearing, pillaging, raping,

And making his own world into rubble,

The universe should wrap around this world a bubble.

For sooner or later this earth will self-destruct,

If man is permitted to run amuck,

Everything man does is inheritably corrupt,

Nothing can in the future of this interrupt,

Man does leave in my mouth a taste of disgust.

We are on the verge of self destruction and it's like who can do it first! The entire world has gone crazy! What's in those "chem-trails"?

Love ya!

It will get to the point of no return. Then the earth will shake off mankind like it has done in the past and begin all over again.

Our earth has survived things much worse than man. Man is destroying man, and when we're destroyed and gone, the earth will heal and become whole again. I understand where you're coming from, because man is a selfish thoughtless creature, and one would think we could wake up and see what we're doing to our world. Alas, if we do, it will probably be to late for us as a species. Long live the cockroaches.

I agree with you, Ed. I believe it is past the point of no return. Greed and overpopulation. I will say it again: how is the earth supposed to continue when natural resources are being plundered at rapid speed? Sad.

But woman doesn't? ;-)

You are being very blunt with this stark expression. If it weren't for hundreds of "tree huggers" out there working hard to preserve so many areas of nature, you wouldn't even know about some of the atrocities that have been going on for nearly forever.

Thanks to poets like you and on the ground activists like them, the future bodes well for mother Earth once the science that is there is passed on to everyone.

You could be right, Ed, but I feel more positive within the scope of the future.

Some traditions says that as long as there is one holy man still left on earth, then the world will continue to turn. Let's hope that's true.
