Sandled feet walk amid the burgeoning clouds
The breeze as He passes causes them to rise
He's angry today, everyone will know it
He will pass judgement from His throne in the skies

A lowly man is caught out in the open
He is searching for shelter against the rain
Darkening clouds part and God's finger points down
The man becomes part of an electric chain

The wind screams out another name on the list
Frantic cries of mercy give voice to the storm
God thunders His verdict upon the poor soul
Who is forced to surrender his living form

God reaches down and snatches up a city
Everyone is affected by His wrath
There's no need for warning, He already warned
God comes in the storm, on a lightning bolt's path
