I saw polar bears life and close up in their natural habitat, the high arctic. I was on an icebreaker and a family of mother, father and cub would follow us for days on end and when our ship stopped for the night they would come up beside us on the ice and we would usually give them such treats as roasts of beef or pork and they were beautiful and magnificent to behold.

I loved this-my Mom collects Polar bear things and we often say how they look so cute, but they are such killers in real life, and I think it is unfortunate that people forget they are wild animals because it causes harm to both man and animal,but that being said, THEY ARE SO DARN CUTE, LOL!!!

The fact that some say this image and reality may be vanishing from the world makes POLAR BEAR CUB a wonderful poem to enjoy as well an important documentation of these tremendously powerful yet gentle beautiful animals. Appreciate the read in a big way.
