the time of morn, when the dawning sun flowers, is the best time. it sends forth pasteled petals of light, the pulse of life: not found in my coffee cup, it is in the eastern sky.
Outstanding poetry!
Your pen is quilling in vibrance of a typical day yet, overflowing with all the images, magnified!
I'll say it again~ Outstanding!

Great musing here, Karla. Like the smart transitions with the inclusion of the coffee-cup image: makes it very real. A "wake up and smell the coffee" write that takes our attention to the really important things in life. Neat, thank you. Kate xx
I love morning too, Karla. Thank you for this short, sweet, and concise tribute to the sun, the morning, and the pretty flowers that are well worth getting up from bed.
Beautiful poem, Karla; very well done! Love the pic! :)

The first time I saw a field of sunflowers I was shocked, they were head down and burned out. Then I realised they were for harvesting to make sunflower oil. Great poem. Victor
