Butterfly

I don't get to see them very often, but when I do I'm always appreciative of these beautiful gifts of Nature....

Nature carefully selected the vibrant hews of
Your delicate wings shimmering in the sunlight,
As you float upon her warm, fragrant breath.
In you she has created perfection,
With every detail of the intricate patterns
She has woven into your ethereal wings.
Could it be she fancied angels?
For are they not glorious, winged creatures
Meant to lift hearts and souls?
In her wisdom, she placed you here
So that we might glimpse a little of heaven!
Enchanting butterfly, you grace my life,
And flowers pale in your presence.
You embody the majesty of Nature’s kingdom!
And you are always welcome in my garden!

Very nice, though I've seen many butterflies I never really paid much attention to them. After reading this I'm sure I will pay more attention to the grace and beauty of the butterfly. May God bless you every day of your life.

A large yellow and black beauty romanced our young navel orange with no blossoms for some time yesterday. If there were no butterflies the world would much less enchanting.

As I seen my first butterfly of the season only yesterday this was good timing for yes they always amaze me with their delicate beauty but the strength to travel miles and miles.

To me, butterflys always bring a bit of winged beauty and I cannot help but watch their slow progression from place to place. your words brought the sense of the beauty of these, indeed, "glorious winged creatures" to the eye of my mind. Well said, Annabel.
