Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Top ‘O The Morning, Afternoon, and Evening!
As morning has stretched into afternoon, and has now headed towards evening, I had to keep stretching the above greeting out as well. I would have gotten to my computer earlier, if I hadn’t been sidetracked by the ‘lucky charms’ of the beautiful day outside. The glow from my computer screen just couldn’t compete with the warm sunshine flowing through the windows; and twittering was out of the question with all of the real twittering and chirping going on out there! So, I abandoned the office, and headed off to seek out all things green and beautiful! And they were there in abundance; I just had to work my way around some leftover snow puddles, and a few things brown and yuckyful! There were green blades of grass, and baby plants venturing a peek at that wonderfully warm, big yellow ball up there; Water was flowing and rippling everywhere, and the Town was decked out in shiny green tinsel shamrocks, and greetings. There were even attractive green (yet classy) wigs and hats walking around! Not to be one-upped, the robins made their first appearance of the year, on the back lawn, proudly decked out in complimentary red breast colours, and drowning out ‘Danny Boy’ with their unbeatable Spring sound! And they’re just getting started!
So, let that beautiful green greeting stretch on – ‘Top O’ The Morning’ to you, today and every morning!
