Don’t be afraid to do it…toot your own horn! Yes, you wrote a book so now, tell the world! Get business cards made up with your book cover on it and pass them out. Don’t be shy. Find an opportunity to work in the fact that you just wrote a book. You’ll know right away if someone is interested in learning more about it because they’ll ask you about it. And if they don’t seem interested then you can just change the subject, but there’s no harm done. You’ll be surprised at how many people decide to pick up a book just because they’ve met the author in person. It’s almost as if you now have a connection to them.
Be proud of what you’ve done. Not everyone can write. There are many people who struggle to put two sentences together and you are not one of them. Remember that. Treasure your ability.
