Have you considered the idea of converting your book to audio? It might be an idea you want to look into further. Have you considered the idea of converting your book to audio? It might be an idea you want to look into further.
We have books in print and we have e-books. And both work quite well. We’ll always have the person who enjoys the feel of a book in their hands and who enjoys underlining certain passages. And we’ll always have the person who is quite content to pull out their tablet and have access to several books at one time instead of having to lug them around. But what about the person who says that they just don’t have time to read?
We have many people today who commute long distances (or are stuck in very heavy traffic on a regular basis) to get to work. For these people an audio book could be a perfect choice. I know I have listened to many books and lectures while I was driving; I find it’s a great way to get information when time is short.
If you’ve done research on who your target audience is, then you’ll have an idea of how much time they could be spending in their cars. If you haven’t why not look into it? The goal is to get your writing out there to as many people as you can and in as many ways as you can. And audio books serve a unique purpose- they get that person who just never has time to read- to read. And what they are listening to could belong to you.
Give it some thought. Check it out and if it’s a possibility for you then consider it- it could be just what you’re looking for to boost your book sales.
