There is truly only one voice that you should trust unconditionally when making decisions about your writing and that voice is your inner one. It’s that little voice that you sometimes hear running in the back of your mind.
There is truly only one voice that you should trust unconditionally when making decisions about your writing and that voice is your inner one. It’s that little voice that you sometimes hear running in the back of your mind.
When you are relaxed, listen to what it says. It will guide you. You know when it is speaking because what it says is not only comforting but it makes sense to you. Write a certain way. Don’t write a certain way. Seek out the advice of a certain person. Nope, that advice doesn’t feel right to me, so should I really listen to it and follow through?
There’s a lot of people out there seeking to give you advice on your writing. But not all of it is suitable to your style of writing. It may not be suitable for you in your current situation. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, then you might want to reconsider it.
Listen to your inner voice. Let it point you in the right direction for you, not only in regard to your writing, but in all aspects of your life as well.
