If it’s one thing I know… it’s that we need to keep going with our writing. We need to keep our finished works out there.
A local book fair might seem like “small potatoes” but you never know who you might meet. You just might make the connection you’ve been waiting for. And if nothing else, it gives you more experience in how to present your book and talk to people who pass by. You’ll find ways to capture their attention. If you pass opportunities up, no matter how inconsequential you think they are, then you will never develop the “chops” you need to make your writing successful.
Okay, so we can’t all be Steven King- but we can get our work in front of the public as often as we can.
