Sienna, Cinnamon
Grains—burnt, sienna, cinnamon,
swirl in a dust whirl
on Idaho’s plains.
Clouds expel dense rains,
a tail drops its’ curl,
grains dance . . . sienna, cinnamon.
Blindly . . . sienna, cinnamon,
swallow vehicles,
leave nothing to see
but eternity.
Something drains, tickles
blindly, sienna, cinnamon.
Can’t breathe--sienna, cinnamon—
have abolished air . . .
a frightful ballet.
Who would dare to say
a chorus of air
destroys . . . sienna, cinnamon?
