ARRRR . R . RUH, those dainty lions!

Waving their manes with the greatest of ease;
the flowers and grasses jealous, they tease.
Mighty dandelions do hear them roar
not for a moment but forevermore.
Their seed takes wing, is borne upon the wind
falling where they once were . . . or might have been.
Hear them roar
like never before . . .
ARRRR . R . RUH! ARRRR . R . RUH . . .
only in pure hearts.
It’s so loud it can deafen!

You should hear them singing in the sunshine
as their yellow manes swing powerfully.
With a whip they leap beyond horizons!
Classified as weeds, they’re gifts from the One.
King of the fields with crowning adornment
we kill them repeatedly, our torment
See their bright glow;
they aren't meant to go.
The harder we pull,
the louder they shout
ARRRR . R . RUH! ARRRR . R . RUH . . .
seeking those pure hearts.
It’s so loud it can deafen!

One day we’ll see that life is little things . . .
the fluff is the stuff that makes our hearts ring.
If you catch dandelions taking flight,
watch the illusion . . . they’re out of sight.
They don’t hide in dens but bask in the sun
ready to delight us, share in our fun.
Hear them roar,
see them soar,
like never before . . .
to wave everymore.
