stars . . . falling
chasing the rainbows’ end
watching the moonbeams spin
rays . . . shining
caressing all things green
sometimes, too hot, it’s mean
rain . . . drizzling
quenching all the earth’s thirst
some swallow such--they burst
snow . . . piling
majestically topping
falling . . . no stopping
night . . . swelling
enveloping all light
day surrendered--no fight
dawn . . . rising
joyously shout anew
