With a wink and a smile :)

Poem Artwork

Holding it gently
Betwixt two warm hands
Blow breath to it warmly
for firmness now had

Look up at ya smiling
the imp in my eye
Ya know what is coming
with widening eyes

Ya notice the firmness
the result soon be had
elated I will be
please do not be mad

I just had to do it
I can’t help myself
dear snowball I hold ya
for soon you I’ll pelt!

:)

;) indeed, Lily! Can even hear the Irish brogue and see the impish gleam that is more than a reflection from that handful of ice and snow. Very well done and teased out, and wonderfully well controlled. So reminds me of a cheeky little number I did a while back, entitled Nursery Rhyme, I think.... something about rekindling the energies of a "damp chick", I seem to recall! Girls just love to have fun... :) xx
