Nature of a sort, not my usual...

Poem Artwork

Sharing my World…

I live in the woods, in a campground year around,

I share with the woodland creatures this space in which I am found,

I share with the insects and the birds and the hogs from the ground,

I only wish, that the ants, so large, could understand,

I would prefer them to stay outside, not in, or anywhere around…

I prefer not to kill them, as killing anything is sin,

They were put here for a purpose as was I and my kin,

But for them to just move on in, to take over my life,

I am sorry, dear ants, this I cannot allow, such is my strife…

So I must, to rid them from my home, use a spray I would rather not,

But no other way have I found to get them to cease their entry & desist,

For they must also find shelter & food to further in their own way, exist…

(((ed)))

o, ick, ants--at least your variety, although huge in size, don't bite...we have the fire ants. they bite, and you'll know it--they'll bite the whine out of you

and carpenter ants, they're creepy as well--and little tiny red pissants

we got 'em all--hate 'em

but love this buggy little write

hope you get rid of 'em (be careful what you use around rufuz *wooF*)

(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
