I refuse to complain,

About the heat, cause its lame,

Not that I to the cold lay any claim,

But I said last winter I wouldn’t,

So I guess that means since some would it recall,

That about the heat complaining I shouldn’t…

In the 90’s (32.2 C) here in the good old Barrens,

What seem to it enjoy of the heat are the Herons,

Oh yes the humidity will be rising quite soon,

A little rain we could use, but please God no monsoon…

Even at night the temps don’t get below 75F (23.8C),

As long as I have A/C I find I can easily survive,

In fact for the most part I can more easily thrive,

Better than it being extremely cold and snowy,

And it is certainly much better than being cool and blowy…
