A bit of wisdom entirely true. That's why years ago, getting fed up with losing things, I have a system for a lot of things, especially car keys, they have a special place where I put them religiously every time. That way, they never get lost. Still, it was fun to read your poem, what happens to "other people". John
Yep. I lost my car keys this morning. Looked everywhere except where it was. When I finally found them I remembered putting them there (on top of a counter butting against the sink).

This is a regular occurrence in our house. My highly distracted partner is always losing something. She goes hysterical and roams the house like a ferret only to come up empty. A short time later, she suddenly happens upon the missing article. And, instead of realizing she's losing why things, she forgets what she did and the cycle repeats at least once a week. ;-)
