This was written just for fun, and is in no way autobiographical.

 EVERYTHING I DO

Everything I do,

I do oh so slow.

It’s the only pace I know.

Slow is as fast as I go.

I can always go slower,

I’ll never ever scurry.

There’s no need for speed,

I’m never in a hurry.

It takes me a long time to get there.

It takes me a long time to get done.

From start  to finish,

You’ll never see me run.

I’ll never flitter,

Or scamper about.

If it requires momentum,

Then I’ll do without.

I’ll never accelerate,

Or attain velocity.

I’ll never kick it up a notch,

Or move rapidly.

I’m never quick or in a rush,

Those are facts I can disclose.

Chances are I’ll be late,

I’ve got a case of the slows.

Just a human turtle you are,
Daily you do not make it too far,
But the distance you get is worth the trip,
So admit to your shortcomings and get a grip...-e-

Dammit! Can't get that classic song by Brian Williams out of my head to think of something slow and stupid to say!

Slow and stupid wins the race, but you won't even get there, at that pace.

I'm with you. Either I'm cramming more in each day or I'm getting slower.

Eh . . . Unfortunately Michael, I am the opposite . . . I say unfortunately, because I have been know to screw up things when I get too fast in my quest to finish whatever project I am working on. Yep, there's a lot to be said, as John just did, for being a little slower.

There is something to be said for taking one's time. Enjoyed the play on words. Very clever. John
