I have been watching a lot of survival shows. Some people seem to be quite comfortable being in nature alone (I believe that I am that way). But, I am continually surprised at the number of "tough" outdoor types and/or "experienced" survivalist types who find it very difficult to be alone for even a few days, and when given the opportunity to quit, will tap out.

I think that is the reason why solitary confinement is probably torture.

There are times that I really enjoy being alone. Seems like I can get a lot more accomplished. On the other hand, I'm always glad to see my wife come home after she's been shopping or whatever she takes the notion to do. Good job, as usual, Michael.
