ALWAYS LATE KATE

Never on time,

That’s Always Late Kate.

She doesn’t mind,

If she makes people wait.

She runs behind schedule,

From morning till night.

Her clocks all have different times,

She never knows which one is right.

Punctual Paul is always on time,

He’d rather be early than late.

He made a vow to himself,

To never make anyone wait.

Punctual Paul was running early,

The day he met Always Late Kate.

He asked her, if she had the time,

Would she like to go out on a date

They fell in love with each other,

You know what they say,

Opposites attract,

They got married the next day.

And on the day they were married,

Punctual Paul had to wait.

But they always have time for each other,

Sometimes early, sometimes late.
