Love this poetic pen on words, Michael! I also love pretty script handwriting as my mother had the best curls of all. She wrote like John Hancock on steroids. My sister picked up this talent. So, what happened to me? I guess my father is to blame. LOL.
Having been a former teacher, I tried really hard to get my students to use correct penmanship. So, you might understand why this poem really appeals to me. My wife was also a teacher. So, when I read this poem to her, she replied, “That man is really talented.” I read many of your poems to her, Michael. I may not always comment on them, but I do read all of them. During my teaching career, I graded endless stacks of papers. I’ll have to be honest and say that grading papers was not much fun at all. But there was one aspect of grading that I didn’t mind doing, and that is creative writing. Even that could be boring until every now and again some student would just knock my socks off with their creativity. Such is the case when I read your poetry. Sometimes it just makes me happy to read what you’ve written, causing me to eagerly await what you will come up with next time. Keep up the great work, Michael. You are talented as can be. 🎓⭐️🇺🇸

Love ya!
Jane
You see, she loved you too.
Her breast-pocket a dark blue,
Evidence of her love for you.
Hell no! And don't you write a word of it. Ever!
