TOASTER TALK
I’ll warm your waffles.
Your bagels will be beautifully done.
Your Pop Tarts will pop up.
I’ll toast your buns.
I’ll take your bread,
And turn it toasty brown.
People call me their Sunbeam.
I’m the toast of the town.
I’m spring loaded.
My elements built to last.
When you turn me on,
I get hot real fast.
I’m king of the kitchen,
But I don’t like to boast.
The day will come when I burn out,
And then I’m the one who’s toast.

There is something very heartwarming about toast in the morning.
It's funny, I used to ask my mom for 4 slices of toast with coffee.
I would add butter and, on occasion, some jelly.
But it was that "warm toast" that was my favorite.
Later, I graduated to bagels and English Muffins which are now my fav!
What about eggs? Eggs were a side-dish! The toast was the main course!
