THE BACHELOR LAWYER
The lawyer was a confirmed bachelor,
And lived a bachelor’s life.
He could clearly show evidence,
His life was free from strife.
His office was his home,
And sometimes briefs were all he had.
It might have been a breach of etiquette,
But he could wear what he wanted,
It was his legal pad.

that he just as well confirm his singlehood with a brief kiss on her cheek and send her a subpoena that said, "brief encounters are not for me" then he closed his pad and went to sleep.
