A weed attacker.

 THE WEED WHACKER

He was known as the Weed Whacker.

His lawn was green and lush.

There wasn’t a weed to be seen,

The grass was soft and plush.

The Weed Whacker whacks weeds,

They never get the chance to grow.

Every time he whacks a weed,

He swings his whacker like a pro.

The Weed Whacker’s on the job,

Ever vigilant and on guard.

“Never give a weed an inch" he says,

Or they’ll surely take a yard.”

Weed waker, weed wacker is just that.
It just gives the weeds a continuous wack.
But weeds soon grow up again, without a sound.
Cause it never gets to the roots buried deep in the ground!

Well done, once again, Michael!

I was a weed digger,
roots and all.
Whenever I heard or smelled,
a new weed growing,
I was on call.

So if you're ever,
in the mood to kill a weed,
just call me up and I will come,
to do the evil deed.

Sure love your wacky rendition. The Weed Eater was invented right here in Houston in 1971. Actually used primarily to edge our fast-growing St. Augustine grass that sends out runners over sidewalks and driveways. St. Augustine grows well in hot humid climates and crowds out most weeds.

Only you could make such a great poem about, of all things, a "Weed Whacker"! This could have been written about my neighbor! He lives for his lawn. 'Enjoyed!!

Love ya!

I could use a professional Weed Whacker. My gardeners always lose to the weeds.

So true, in addition to being funny. I'm still smiling Michael. I always wonder what you will come up with next. Each one very unique.

As usual, Michael your thoughts turned into words are completely relevant, and hilarious . . .
