You made me think of those cut up dolls. We did that when we were kids when we get of of a pair of scissors and then got the papers and we would start cutting. It is called paper art. Oh, I think you've got subtle meaning to this poem. I'm not sure of what it is, my mind is too simple to read into this. But it is fun to read. :)
The master of the pun as always. We really do have some weird expressions, such as the one here you mention "3 sheets to the wind." very expressive. I wonder how they originate. That in itself would be a story worth telling.
