Signs


It was a small sign that
brought you back - one
to be ignored by many,
but you and I had a
deep appreciation for
errors on painted signs
bringing us fast laughs

The sign today was
freshly painted to tell
visitors which door to
enter fo an offered
service. It read -
"Ask The Uniform -
He Will Tell You
Where To Go"

The sign you and I
remember and tried
to steal during WWII
was somewhat better,
reading, "Military
men to sleep at the
YMCA must start
with Miss Anderson"
