My best friend asked me to go skydiving. I said, “Thank you, No thank you.” He wanted to know if I was a man or a mouse. Told him I sure as hell wasn’t a freaking bird. Well, then the smart ass told me a chicken is a bird, chicken.
Whereupon I told him I wasn’t aware that chickens flew a migration route.
He asked me if I ever heard of Darwin. Well, Yea. Darwin said everything came from the same mudhole. All the birds, animals, fishes and people have the same common ancestor and are more or less all programmed the same. We all went different ways because of different interests. Some liked to fly, others liked to swim, climb trees and so on and so forth.
I said, “Well, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. I didn’t know that. So what you’re telling me is that I should go skydiving because I could’ve been a bird? ” “Exactly. It’s in your genes.” I said, “Is that a fact? ” “Well, actually, a theory, he replied. I told him I didn’t think that was very intelligent and said Darwin and he could go screw themselves, theoretically speaking.
Veddy interesting take on Darwinism, made all the more interesting by your skilled crafting ... and your eventual suggestion to your friend LOL!
