Last night, stepped out for a smoke (yeah, yeah, I know!), looked up and a fireball passed overhead, traveling from east to west. It was bright: so much so, it lit up the sky. Toward the end of its path, it broke up in several pieces before fading ... did anyone see it, or was it given to me, alone?
... did anyone see it? Streaking across the sky? The quick bright line of greenish blue that passed overhead in silence - it broke up in several pieces. Ears flexed in preperation for the explosion that never came. Did anyone see it, the fireball? Or was it meant for me ... alone?
That was a wondrous exprience Karla. Look in your paper tomorrow or on the net in worldwide news, it may be in there if anyone else saw it! Thanks for sharing!

There is nothing quite so magical as a "shooting star". This was a great descrptive write of the uniqueness of this experience.

What a beautiful sight it must've been my friend...my first thoughts was that it was a sign, just for you...a blessing on the way...smoking hmmm. I know it's hard to quit, I quit in 93 one of the hardest things besides giving birth I ever did...come to think of it, kicking the habit was harder. Great write, get ready for a blessing...

SHOOT!! No, I didn't see it either; but I sure heard you say, "WOW! DID YOU SEE THAT??" By the time I came running (such as it were) on my sticks, it was gone. Just like that! DANG it, I missed it!!
