A demonic madswirl eyes
its target far below, takes
aim, fires - misses.  The next town
won't be so lucky if he
has his way, the enemy
with murder and mayhem on
his mind - he has all season to
get his markmanship medal.

Nice marksmanship here, Karla. Hits the target cleanly--one shot, one kill. The imagery is also adept and effective. A good write.

I've seen those clouds again. I used to wish never to see a tornado again, but now I wish never to be near one again because you can be near, and not see it. Your ample descriptions of this enemy are right on target, and good photo...Jerry

You capture this so vividly. A 'miss' in this case is a very, very good thing.

God bless you. Kathy

It is spooky to think of ascribing human attributes and skills to a natural event...very effective too, at least for me, in helping me understand the phobia a bit more intimately. Excellent pen.

be well and happy,

How cute. Darn those hunters! I'm married to one and still can't get used to it. Great job my friend, I'm showing this to my husband. Love, Bonnie

Powerful write, Karla; and so true: with no place to go to when it storms, we ARE sitting ducks. NOT good!

Very well penned; brava! That pic says it all!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twink, Karen Lynn. :(
