Me, too, Karla! Been staying indoors in the AC as much as possible; outdoor chores completed in the mornings :o) My grocery shopping (a must-do tomorrow or Thurs) consists of salad-makings: greens, tuna, chicken, and two half gals. of orange or lime sherbets - the latter really cooling! I feel like I've filled a swimming pool...all the water I've been drinking LOL

Six more weeks until Autumn, but will the heat break by then? The State of Texas, as a whole, moved National Night Out to the first Tuesday in October, as a trial this year, because temperatures, on average, are 8 degrees cooler, then. Did our idiot officials in my community move ours? Nope. We're having it Tuesday night on a day that should bring record-setting triple-digit heat to the Texas Coastline. I'll be outside slapping mosquitoes and baking in the heat, while everyone else in the state is waiting for their October block parties! But, I digress.

I'm praying for a cool snap and soon. I'm beyond being tired of it being 85 degrees at 7 a.m. and 100 by 1:30.
