I like the "Better yet" part. Really wise. We don't normally think of "seeing" Him in the storms, floods, etc.

Hello Karla,

You wrote such a masterpiece in this poem it is almost visible to me.
It's a great prayer/poem, and honest ("I am not that brave...still the storms"). Just excellent!

Okay, God, let the east coast of Jersey have at least a few larger waves, as I want to surf in them instead of 3-5 footers that are boring no end...then listen to Karla regards big storms and such...thanks,

So far we've been fortunate, but you live closer to danger's edge than I now. Glad Gustav at least mitigated. Luckily it is NOT a La Nina year, maybe they can weaken. Ike is a worry, but September is a long month.
You've seemed to catch that "gentle rainshower" right over that roof! You must wear your camera around your neck!
