Poem Artwork

... deep cerulean skies
announce the coming change.
Summer lingers on its
last legs; warm days give way
to cool nights --- at least the
heat is gone.  Birds V their
way south; soon, Autumn will
shade leaves with vivid hues
before Winter arrives ---
this, the best time of year.

A lovely nature poem, Karla. I love when the air turns brisk but it's not too cool. Hugs,

I don't like the cold of the winter but I love the season and the snowflakes which make me feel like a child all over again. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and to watch the trees change their dress for the cold always amazes me. Thank you for sharing.

Newfie Hugs are on the way, Rose

Karla,

Autumn..the most beautiful time of year, when the leaves are falling from the trees, and its not 100 degrees anymore. Loved the feeling your poem guess, a sense of tranquility.
