Welcome, Fall. Can't come fast enough for me and twin sis. LOL

Inside spiced with apple
cinnamon candles; the 
doors and windows are wide

open to welcome Fall's
refreshment on the back
of the first real cold front.

Rains over; air cool and
invigorating - the
evening walk will feel good.

Nice poem and yes, fall is in the air. Evening walks are good, (but I'm scared of the dark) so I prefer to do mine in the morning to jack up my metabolism.
