Anticipation - Haiku

Still awaiting leaves, tulips, and warm sunny days....however the birds have returned.....and hearts are lifted!

 

Anticipating
Warm sunshine and gentle rain
Flowers await Spring!
 
Spring’s seamstress arrives
Every branch ready to burst,
Trees await their gowns!
 
With flawless cadence
Winter’s silence is ended
Birdsongs have begun!

A fine trio of eloquent perfectly descriptive images. The mocking birds are here now. They don't have any problems declaring sunrise at 2am. On the bright side I don't need an alarm clock. Patrick

Once the birds and the birdsong arrive, the Maiden of Spring soons makes an appearance. We are already in lovely full spring bloom, and they say that we may hit 80 Degrees today. My dogs already want another spring swim!

Yes, I saw on the way home today all the trees are starting to sprout their leafs and lots of colour opening up in flower beds. Won't be long now till beach weather. Great Kus my friend.
