Went for a rejuvenating drive in the country on Sunday...this is what I saw! This breathtaking valley is in south-eastern New Brunswick, Canada....

Poem Artwork

Fragrant breezes fresh and clean
Heavenly shades of blue and green
Majestic lady of land and sea
In my heart you speak to me!

Summoned to your warm embrace
A willing captive of your grace!
My eyes begin to see again
What I lose sight of now and then.

Gazing upon your beauty rare
My spirit lifted; soul bared!
Your gracious gifts, wealth untold
Enchanting splendour to behold!

One must see through the eyes of the soul
To appreciate nature’s purest gold!
Wealth beyond our wildest dreams
In every hill and vale and stream!

This is a spectacular picture and poem. I can now see why it is so easy for you to write of God's beauty. May God bless you every day of your life.

There is nothing more soul soothing than a drive or walk on a Maritime autumn day. Great word painting here Anna.

One must see through the eyes of the soul,
To appreciate nature’s purest gold!

If only many more could see with their souls these days, we might not be in such a damned hurry to destroy it all.

What can I say that hasn't been said below? Your words sing of the beauty you've seen. Lovely poem, my northern friend.

You gave me a part of the world I have not been privileged to see firsthand, Anna, and you gave it to me with a poets love and passion. Very well-written poetry from the heart and soul.

Anna, I love your poem. I read it, then re-read it and finally, having not tired of it, I read it from bottom to top. Not sure I've ever done that before, but this poem reads just as nicely in reverse. Like it both ways though. Dick
