Almost fall...

Falls rains do greatly to clear away summers pains...

Poem Artwork

 Here comes the rain,

To me not a pain,

The rain brings with it a cleaning,

A Mother Nature’s clearing not intervening…

Her broom is her wind,

Brushing away with it all allergies,

Her thoughts are specifically defined,

Over that of the bulk of mankind…

So now to enjoy the forthcoming months of winter,

Gotta love the snow and cold in all its beauty,

The fire in the hearth leaves always a warming cinder,

While I sit wrapped in a blanket of warmth, reading is my duty.

It certainly is, "almost fall." Always a time to get out and feel the sun's warmth in the cool air and marvel at the change in scenery the change in the weather brings. Nothing like a wet fall day to catch the eye like your image.

Winter will come soon enough; let's enjoy the falling leaves of autumn. Fine poem.
