PICK A NUMBER

It was singles night at Numero Uno’s,

And every number was there.

The Statistics had the place rockin’,

There was romance in the air.

The lady numbers were dressed to the nines,

And everyone was a 10.

Playing it by the numbers,

They knew their figures attracted the men.

There were lots of calculations being done,

To find out who might count.

It was important to get the right data,

Or risk being totaled by the wrong amount.

But all the male numbers from 2 on up,

Didn’t have a chance of hearts being won.

Every lady there that night,

Was only looking for the one.
