A punny poem. We all need some humor these days. I hope you enjoy.

 THE PESSIMIST

 

He’s an unstoppable force of negativity,

Everything’s either bad or worse.

Nothing will ever be good enough,

In his pessimistic universe.

 

Always waiting for the other shoe to drop,

He expects to fail and fall.

Never having anything positive to say,

He’s a real “No” it all.

Michael: I have always been a "piss, I missed" by nature. I somehow always manage to imagine the worse case scenario and to my chagrin, things have never turned out that way. "No it all" fer shure. I'm a real Nowhere Maaaaaaann, livin' here in La-La Land. Thank you so much for taking a peek at my tripe -- I cain't tell yuh how much I appreciate it ....

Seems like every step he takes, snags a trip and a fall. But our show show-man-in-chief stays forever optimistic, telling us that will be all over in the fall, after he fell.

Clever, funny, upbeat, just what we need from a pessimist. You are right, Michael, we do need a little bit of mirth and thanks for providing it. Now, how about a mirror poem, "The Optimist".

Yes, this too shall pass.
Meanwhile we wait...
Screw the news, it brings on the blues...
It's a BIG pain in the arse!
It's bike riding time...so it can't be too bad.
When this is over, a cruise ship will be the SAFEST vacation of all.
