"Now what in the world will you do?"

Poem Artwork

Incurious George

Smirking artificial cowboy
Incurious George W
Your followers watch you destroy
Their hope: you are in trouble you
Are past the point of no return
Now and it is too late to learn
At this late hour to do your job

Now as you face the angry mob
The angriest of all are they
Who must explain your crimes away

Crass counterfeit false everyman
Incurious George W
In World War III without a plan

Now what in the world will you do?

I didn't really know what to expect going into this poem, somehow I think I was expecting something about Curious George the monnkey, hwich would have been completely out of character for you. Anyway, you prove your talent when it comes to being short and to the point once again. Wonderful peice, with great insight. George seems to be destroying everything and everyone that comes in his way, and I feel sorry for whoever has to clean up his mess after he leaves.

while the topic is frightening, i believe that there's still hope; not for dubya, but the rest of us.

and he does resemble a monkey, don't he?

This is disturbing because it is true, Stevie. Love and peace to you,

Yes, I agree with Felix. We are all on pins and needles. I hear from soldier friends over in the hot zones too...lots of nail biting going on. Very good!

Scary but true, the world sits on pins and needles and wonders where he will cause havoc, death and destruction next. Well done and great intent here my friend.
