Drops of dew resting everywhere,
Not a blade of grass there to spare.
Falling lightly down as gentle rain,
Upon God’s lovely, carpeted terrain.
I see dew on the back of the ladybug,
Hanging on for dear life, as in a hug.
Upon the grasses, dew wants to cling,
When the grass begins quietly to sing.
Fragile dew drops shake and quiver,
Some of them merge to form a river.
An infinity of wonder stirs the mass,
A thousand and one blades of grass.
Dewdrops as mirrors on grass spears,
A thousand flecks as sunlight appears.
The dew silent and peaceful as snow,
The glistening garment glory to show.
Soon the dew dies as vanishing pearls,
Gentle winds dry these beautiful worlds.
Arriving in the early morning in cameo,
Nature takes delight in this brief glow.
Love ya!
