OUTSIDE IN
The woodsman’s country home,
Had walls of tall oak trees.
The shady roof overhead,
Was just branches and leaves.
There’s a flowerplace in the the den,
Filled with plants lush and green.
He can fish from his easy chair,
It sits beside a running stream.
There are birds in the kitchen,
They sing, chirp, and cheep.
Fireflies light up his bedroom,
While crickets help him sleep.
The wall to wall carpet is a luxory lawn,
With Kentucky bluegrass covered floors.
The woodsman built his house outside in,
So he could live inside the great outdoors.

I would love to live outside just like the woodsman for it would be so cool and pure!
But once it rained on my stealthy roof it would dampen my spirits for sure.
It would be a challenge sloshing around in the mud and the muck.
But the first winter snowfall, I would away fly faster than the fastest duck!
Nice write Mike!
Love ya!
